Local contractors and suppliers interested in helping build Kenilworth Rugby Club's new ground have been invited to register their interest.

The club, which was given planning permission for its new Warwick Road ground last February, is looking for companies to be involved in the supply chain.

Following the sale of the current ground last autumn, the club will soon also open a tender process to find the main contractor for the development.

A KRFC statement said: "Since launching the 'Build the Castle' campaign in 2020, Kenilworth RFC volunteers and supporters have been working tirelessly to turn dreams into reality and support the delivery of a purpose built, new ground for club members to enjoy for years to come.

"At that time, the call to arms was to anyone who might be able to step-up and help us with the ambitious task of delivering this project; since then, numerous skilled individuals have donated their time and energy, for which we are eternally grateful.

"Now, once again we are reaching out to the #kenfamily (club members and supporters) to offer you the opportunity to help 'Build the Castle'. "

The process will be managed by the club's employers agents, with partners selected wholly by the main contractor on the basis of value for money and capability.
