Kenilworth Tennis, Squash and Croquet Club has enjoyed a "highly successful" year for junior padel.

Players across the under 12 to under 16 age groups have recorded strong results at tournaments throughout 2025 and achieved notable national rankings.

The Crackley Lane club hosted a junior padel tournament in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

The event "highlighted the growing strength of junior padel" at Kenilworth and saw local player Jake Simpson win the Under 12 category.

Jake then finished runner-up at the National HOP Adidas Under 12 finals. He enters 2026 with a "well deserved" number one ranking in the UK for under 12 padel tennis.

Another rising star from KTSCC Frankie Simcox has also enjoyed an impressive season and is currently ranked number two in the UK for under 12 girls category, well set for further success this coming year.

The club's success has not been limited to individual performances.

Across all junior age groups, Kenilworth now has ten boys and girls ranked within the UK's top 50, "reflecting the depth of talent being developed at the club".

Looking ahead, KTSCC plans to host further junior padel tournaments over the coming year, continuing to provide competitive opportunities for young players.

With a strong group of emerging players, the club is increasingly being recognised as a key venue for junior padel tennis in the UK.
