For the last three months a new marketing group within Cycleways has been working hard to improve their online presence with a view to recruiting more members and thus strengthening the voice on behalf of cyclists in Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington. Now it is your opportunity to help.

Cycleways is a volunteer group, founded in 1995, campaigning for better cycle provision in the area.

The route for the cycling road race for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games has been announced.

Taking place on Sunday, August 7 the route will start and finish at a ticketed venue at St Nicholas Park in Warwick.

Warwickshire's High Sheriff will visit Kenilworth during a five-day charity cycle this October, just days before the county hosts one of the biggest women's professional cycling races.

Min Willoughby de Broke will travel 200 miles across Warwickshire to finish in Atherstone the day before the town hosts the Women's Tour time trial on October 6.

Over 1000 comments have so far been made on a Warwickshire County Council survey on improvements for walking and cycling.

After Covid-19 forced last year's event into a virtual occasion – Myton is delighted to announce that this year's Cycle Challenge – taking place on Sunday 1 August – is a hybrid offering, meaning riders can join fellow fundraisers on the day or take on the challenge on their own or in bubbles if that's how they would prefer.
