Up close with Julie
We caught up with Julie and she set out her personal approach to doing business in the property market: "You just have to be honest and truthful with people and that is what is important for me. "We provide honest advice, I am not interested in other things that I can sell to a client for an extra fee, I am not interested in hard sales tactics or hitting target numbers. "I am interested in actually providing a good customer experience." Julie Philpot Residential is run from her office across from Abbey Fields with her associate, Donna McCamphill. Julie has worked in residential agency for over 30 years, working for Brian Holt most recently, before launching her own portfolio in 2019. Having taken the leap to launch her own company Julie said: "I greatly believe in the independence of agencies and of professional advice for clients. "Clients who deal with us will get a more personal service with the two of us each having over 30 years property experience." Julie first moved to Kenilworth 35 years ago as she began her career in property sales - she has lived here ever since. When asked what the best thing about working and living in Kenilworth was, she said: "It is the town itself really. "One of the things I enjoy the most is when people don't live in Kenilworth, and they are coming from outside, when I do viewings with them I can sell them the benefits of living and working in Kenilworth. "It is not always about doing a viewing at a house, it is about selling the town, the amenities and what there is to." Speaking about the partnership, Nub News chief executive Karl Hancock said: "I'm ecstatic to have Julie on board as our first partner for Kenilworth. "I look forward to reading her regular articles on the local property market."
