Two yellow weather warnings of thunderstorms have been announced for Kenilworth this week.

The Met Office has put the warnings in place for today (September 3) and Thursday.

The first warning is set to last until 8pm this evening and covers the Midlands, south Wales and London.

Thursday's warning then spreads north as far as Hartlepool and is in place from 2am to 5pm.

"An area of heavy showers and thunderstorms, moving northeast, may cause some localised flooding," the Met Office said.

Further warnings of spray, lightening, delays to public transport and a "small chance" of flooding to businesses have been issued
