Five candidates will contest the vacant seat on Kenilworth Town Council this Thursday (May 6).
The St John's Ward at KTC has been vacant since the resignation of Jack Worrall in February.
Incumbent Cllr John Cooke will be contesting the Lapworth and West Kenilworth seat again this Thursday (May 6), having first been elected a Conservative councillor for Warwickshire County Council in 2017.
Standing for Lapworth and West Kenilworth at WCC:
Kenilworth St. John's will have a new representative at Warwickshire County Council come May 7, as incumbent Cllr Alan Cockburn will be retiring after 20 years of service.
Five candidates are standing to replace him.
Four candidates will contest the Kenilworth Park Hill Ward in the Warwickshire County Council elections this Thursday (May 6).
After it was revealed that incumbent Conservative Cllr Dave Shilton would not be permitted to stand for his seat again for said party in 2021, Park Hill Ward will have a new councillor for the next term of office.

An on-call firefighter from Kenilworth is preparing to cycle 200 miles this coming weekend to raise money for UCL Amyloidosis Research Fund and The Fire Fighters Charity.
