Kenilworth's Conservative councillors are saying yes to the 20mph speed limit, and no to the speed humps and tables proposed for Warwick Road.

In March Warwickshire County Council started a consultation for residents to share their views on proposed changes to Kenilworth's main thoroughfare. This followed the council's temporary 20mph speed limit along Warwick Road that was put into place in 2020.

Voluntary organisations in Kenilworth are being urged to find out how they can receive royal recognition for the work they do.

Civic and business leaders in the city and the county are holding an event at Coombe Abbey on Thursday, June 24, to speak to voluntary groups about how they can be put forward to win the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service - QAVC.

Two burglars who broke into a flat in The Oaks Precinct, Kenilworth were scared off having forced their way into the building.

At around 3pm on Saturday, May 29 two men smashed a window and damaged a door to get into the Caesar Road premises. They then broke into one of the flats inside.
