Representatives of PTAs from various Kenilworth primary schools have joined up with Kenilworth Window Wonderland to help build some more community this autumn.

Running between October 26 and November 1, the brand new Autumn Festival Trail is providing Kenilworth residents the opportunity to decorate their houses in order to celebrate the autumn season, as provide some fun for local children this coming half term.

The community group Friends of Abbey Fields launched their calendar in August this year and for the first time calendars were available on-line.

The calendar was selected in June of this year, after local artists and photographers were invited to submit images of the local area in a competition. Each month features a different image from a different photographer.

Detectives investigating a telephone fraud have arrested a man from London after a woman from Stoneleigh and her sister were conned out of £9000 on Tuesday 6 October.

The victims report a man claiming to be from the police contacting them saying he was investigating counterfeit money. He persuaded the women to withdraw the money and then called them back and got them to read the serial numbers on the notes.

Warwick District Council are making further calls to community organisations in Kenilworth to claim funding available to help them deliver essential services as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Launched in July, the Community Economic Recovery Fund (CERF) is offering grants of up to £3000 to organisations who are continuing to support the community through these challenging times.

Chaos Covers Band returned to Kenilworth for the second time since the lockdown to entertain shoppers and dinners this Saturday lunchtime.

Today the 'Pocket Park' on Warwick Road was graced with the sound of live music between 11.45 and 1.45pm. Whilst rained threatened, the mood outside Pomeroys Bistro and Leaders Limited was still bright.
