Electric vehicle owners in Kenilworth will now be able to apply for a free parking permit from the town council.

The permit scheme is being run in conjunction with Warwickshire County Council, and will provide free parking for all electric vehicles in council-run car parks across the district, all day, every day.

TWENTY-FIVE Kenilworth eateries will begin to roll out the UK Government's 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme as of today, and will be offering this incentive until 31 August.

The nationwide programme will see over 72,000 venues across the country offer customers 50% off the price of food and drink purchases, Monday to Wednesday each week.

As Kenilworth and the rest of the nation continue to emerge from the last 15 months of social restrictions, an emphasis is now being placed on safely returning to normality.
