The lockdown period has inspired many in Kenilworth and across the country to get creative, and try something new, nowhere is this more apparent than at the Kenilworth Allotment Tenants' Association (KATA) where they have just released their very own podcast.

Hosted by Nick Wood, the 'KATApod' podcast is taking a seasonal approach, with at least four episodes being produced each year.

Needless to say the Fairtrade Foundation is a household brand in the UK, synonymous with sustainability, and protecting producers across the world, but readers may be less familiar with Fairtrade in Kenilworth.

Kenilworth has been a Fairtrade town since December 2007, when a group of local volunteers, actively campaigned on the Fairtrade issue.

Kenilworth residents and businesses are set to be consulted to help refresh the Local Transport Plan in Warwickshire.

Consultations were approved by Warwickshire County Council cabinet, and are due to begin in early 2021. A working party from across all of the council's political parties and chaired by the portfolio holder for transport and planning will oversee the consultation.
