Staff at Kenilworth Footcare were still able to do their bit for charity despite the current restrictions

The staff at Kenilworth Footcare have been running a socially distanced 'coffee morning' in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Despite the fact that current government guidelines effectively prevented any chance of a 'normal' Macmillan Coffee Morning, staff at Kenilworth Footcare were determined that they would still be able to support the charity this September.

Campaigners from the group Help Stop HS2, will be holding an event in Kenilworth by the clock tower this weekend to speak with, educate, and inspire local residents, so they can find out how to get involved in the campaign.

The 'National Tree Killing Day' outreach event is hoping to raise further awareness of the environmental impact of the construction of the new rail links. As tree felling, and clearance of hedgerows are now commencing across the country, the event is hoping to give a sense to residents of just how much of a difference will be made to the local landscape.

When Rachel Ollerenshaw collected the keys for an office building in Swan Street, Warwick, it unlocked a whole new chapter for her charity. The premises, the first dedicated HQ for Molly Olly's Wishes, has opened its doors just weeks before Rachel's late daughter – and inspiration behind the charity - would have turned 18. (October 8)

Molly died in June 2011 after a five-year battle with a rare kidney cancer. And what followed, in Molly's memory, has resulted in support for thousands of children around the country with terminal or life-limiting illnesses.
