It has today (Thursday October 22) been announced that Warwick District Council will receive over £150,000 in Government funding to help support the local area during the pandemic.

The announcement comes from Local Government Secretary Robert Jenrick who has confirmed £1 billion will be shared across local councils in the UK, to help support communities during the pandemic.

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) has teamed up with Kenilworth's oldest pub, The Virgins & Castle, to showcase careers in hospitality and employment opportunities at the 16th century venue.

As part of the council's 'Skills for Employment Programme,' a select group of Warwickshire businesses have been chosen to film behind the scenes of their day-to-day activities and create a digital showreel with team interviews.
