Woman in 20s left with head injury after being hit by car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car yesterday (February 9).

The collision happened at around 3.25pm yesterday at the junction of Beechwood Road and Kenilworth Road near Coventry War Memorial Park.

The woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital with a head injury, where she remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and is helping West Midlands Police with our enquiries.

"We are carrying out a range of enquiries, and investigators would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has footage from the area," the force said.
