Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Valentine's Market

Love will soon be in the air in Kenilworth as a new market selling homemade romantic gifts and treats is coming to the town ahead of Valentine's Day.

Talisman Square will host its first ever Valentine's Market on Saturday February 10 from 10am to 4pm, with up to 35 traders set to sell a wide range of products ahead of the big day.

Market stalls will be selling a mix of scented items such as perfumes, candles and soaps, homemade cards perfect for a loved one, and culinary treats for a date night in such as artisan cheese, homemade cookies, cakes and other confections.

More details here.

2. Battle of the Bands

It's time for the heats of Battle of the Bands as KENFEST organisers look for the headline slot at this spring's beer festival.

Out of 42 applications from artists all over the Midlands and beyond, they are now down to the last 20 to compete across four heats that will be held across the month of February.

Head to Kenilworth Rugby Club on Friday (February 9) from 7pm for the second heat!

3. Half Term History Makers

To kick off this February half-term, English Heritage is putting on special family-friendly activities all week in the ruins of Kenilworth Castle.

From Saturday 10 until Sunday 18 February, 'Half Term History Makers' will see characters from Kenilworth Castle's medieval past ready to welcome visitors and bring its history to life for them.

Children can have fun learning what it takes to become a knight through interactive stories and hands-on activities – including foam sword fighting.

More details here.
