1. Guide Dog Fundraiser

A Kenilworth coffee shop is set to host a charity fundraiser this weekend in aid of local guide dog fundraisers.

Arden's Coffee in Talisman Square will be donating the proceeds of hot chocolate and cheese scone sales this Sunday (November 19) to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

Christmas Cards and puppy soft toys will also be on sale at the event, which will run from 10.30am to 3pm.

The money will be given to the puppy fund of Kenilworth Guide Dog Fundraisers - which raises money for the association.

3. Gin, Tonic & Tales

"From patrolling the streets of Sangin to crawling into Insurgent underground tunnel networks in the mountains of Afghanistan".

East Chase Distillers co-founder Richie will take guests through a raw and personal account of his life within UK Special Forces on Saturday (October 14) - over a glass or two of Heritage Gin.

From his early days in the Royal Marines; to embarking, at the age of 22, on the ruthless selection process required in joining Special Forces; losing friends in both training and combat; conducting night-raids within the Insurgent Mountain strongholds of Afghanistan.

4. Christmas Lights in Stratford

While it's a week away from the Kenilworth Christmas Light Switch on, why not head to Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday (November 18) for an early lights fix!

The lights switch-on event is set to be the biggest Stratford has seen, with entertainment taking place throughout the day, between 10am-7pm, all made possible thanks to funding by Stratford-upon-Avon BID.

A giant snow globe and ice cave will be among the interactive attractions as part of the special day, which also includes live musical entertainment, roaming performers and fairground-style games.

Christmas market stalls offering unique gifts and festive food and drink, will also be open between 10am-7pm at the bottom of Bridge Street and on Waterside as well as the regular Rother Street Market run by LSD Promotions.

The big switch-on, at 5.30pm, will be carried out by Father Christmas himself, supported by Stratford Mayor Councillor Kate Rolfe. You can also catch Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas, as they ride through town in their horse-drawn carriage, courtesy of Magic Alley.

5. Cinema

It's cinema time again at the Talisman Theatre on Saturday, at 7.30pm in the form of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands.

With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan's past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins.

Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission -- not even the lives of those he cares about most.
