Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Talisman Fringe

It's the first Thursday of the month today (November 2) which signals the return of Talisman Fringe to the Holiday Inn.

This month's Fringe provides an opportunity to reflect on and remember those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

"Come and join us as a company of new and familiar faces to the Fringe take you through a mixture of real-life experiences, poetry, music and stories that explore the themes of war, peace and reconciliation," organisers at the Talisman Theatre said.

"We welcome Ernie Bloxhall to the Fringe for the first time, who will be sharing a very personal family story.

"We also welcome Robert Bennett to our company who will share some tales from his family history and the artefacts that act as mementoes of World War Two."

As ever, there will be two performances, at 7.30pm and 9pm.

2. Car Boot

The Gauntlet is hosting a car boot sale this Sunday (November 5) from 9am to 1pm.

Head down to the community pub to pick up some bargains!

The first car boot to be held by the new owners, this could become a regular event if it is a success.

3. Mini Beer Festival

Kenilworth's oldest pub is hosting a mini beer festival tonight (November 2).

Head to the Virgins & Castle to sample a range of different beers!

Organisers said: "Join us on Thursday 2 November for brew and stew night: a mini beer fest style guided tasting along with your choice of a hearty stew, cheese board for dessert and a complimentary pint of your favourite beer from the evening!

Having returned to the town for the first time in three years in 2022, the annual Fireworks Spectacular will once again head to Kenilworth Castle this weekend.

Organised by Kenilworth Round Table, the event will be held on Saturday 4 November.

As well as the spectacular display, there will also be a host of food vans on site.

Gates will open on November 4 at 5.30pm and tickets are now available on the Kenilworth Round Table website.

Last entry is at 6.45pm and the fireworks will start shortly after this.
