Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Around the World in 80 Days

Kenilworth-based youngsters at The Talisman Theatre and Arts Centre have been busy rehearsing since Christmas and are set to go on a whirlwind race around the clock for their next main stage production - 'Around the World in 80 Days.'

Running from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 March, with a matinee on Saturday as well, tickets are still available.

Director Caroline McCluskey has been working hard in rehearsals with all the members of the Youth Theatre, ranging in ages from 10 to 18, creating a "polished performance" for the Talisman's mainstage.

Caroline said: "It's been an absolute pleasure working with all these wonderful young people.

"It is very much about giving every youngster a chance to shine and I always have such fun at every rehearsal. Their commitment and professional attitude have been apparent right from the start.

"To add to the fun, we're having a steampunk theme this year which has resulted in a highly creative set, musical choices, and costuming style."

2. St Patrick’s Day DJ and Live Music

The Lion pub is hosting a range of events this weekend.

Head down to the Warwick Road pub on Friday (March 17) to hear DJ Roy from 8pm.

Then on Saturday it is the final day of the Six Nations with England playing Ireland, before the live music begins in the form of 3's a Crowd.

And best of all - Guinness is half price all weekend!

More details here.

3. Twinkle

The Talisman's one-man show Twinkle is set to return for its final performance this Sunday (19 March).

Staring Phil Reynolds, the show follows the journey of Harold Thropp, as a doyen of the pantomime dame.

As he prepares once again to revive his favourite character, Widow Twankey, he's decided to make the ultimate stand against his nemesis, a smug reality television star called Jez Buckham.

The show first came to the Talisman last May, with demand seeing it return later in the year.
