1. Cinema at the Talisman

Fresh from its announcement of a new monthly Fringe Night last week, the Talisman Theatre has more cinema this weekend in the form of 'Official Secrets'.

A morality tale for the 21st century, Official Secrets tells the true story of British Intelligence whistle-blower Katharine Gun. During the immediate run-up to the 2003 Iraq invasion she leaked a top secret NSA memo exposing a joint US-UK illegal spying operation against members of the UN Security Council.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost just £5.

2. Book Signing and Story Walk

Local author Julia Rawlinson has teamed up with Kenilworth Books to bring the 'Fletcher and the Springtime Blossom Story Walk' to town for the Easter holidays.

Inspired by her Fletcher's Four Seasons picture books, which follow the adventures of a kind-hearted but easily confused fox, the self-guided trail will be displayed in the flower borders of Talisman Square for two weeks from Saturday 9 April.

Julia's latest book - Fletcher and the Springtime Blossom - was inspired by the blossom in Willoughby Avenue.

And she will be at Kenilworth Books for a signing from 10.30-12.30 on Saturday 9 April.

There will also be Fletcher's Four Seasons bookmarks and colouring sheets at Kenilworth Books for children who complete the trail.

More details here.

3. Mr Bennet's Bride

The Priory Theatre is presenting Mr Bennet's Bride from April 2 until April 9.

A prequel to Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice, the play takes place twenty five years before the novel is set.

Tickets are available on the Priory Theatre website.
