Roadworks in the centre of Kenilworth which are already causing substantial delays are expected to last until the middle of next week.

Three-way traffic lights are in place along Warwick Road at the junction with Waverley Road due to National Grid works.

Installed on Thursday 23 January, the lights are due to remain in place until Wednesday 29 January.

The lights have already caused significant disruption, with queues backing up to St John's roundabout and further down Warwick Road and Leamington Road, coming into town.

The lights are for "utility repair and maintenance works".
