Thieves steal 160L diesel from parked HGV in Kenilworth

Thieves stole nearly 160 litres of diesel from a parked HGV in Kenilworth during the middle of the night last weekend.

Nearly £250 worth of fuel was stolen from the HGV which was parked on Farmer Ward Road.

Offenders stole the fuel between 1.30am and 2am on Friday, December 31.

The vehicle was parked outside commercial premises.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A Kenilworth Watch statement said: "Please be aware that approximately 160 litres (36 gallons) of diesel fuel valued at around £250 was stolen by offenders between 1.30am and 2am on Friday 31 December 2021 from a commercial (Heavy Goods Vehicle) parked at premises situated on Farmer Ward Road, Kenilworth.

"If you think you may have seen or heard anything suspicious or have any information about this incident then please contact Warwickshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 1111"
