Shakespeare steam express to travel through Warwickshire again this weekend
Locals will be able to see steam power in action on the mainline this weekend as 'The William Shakespeare' travels through Warwickshire once again.
The express is making a slightly longer journey than usual this Sunday (October 27), as it brings passengers from Derby to Stratford-upon-Avon.
The excursion will depart from the East Midlands at 10.34am and pass through Dorridge at 11.50am, then Hatton at 12.08pm before reaching Stratford at 12.42pm - according to Realtime Trains.
After pausing to be photographed and dropping off passengers, the empty express will make its way back to Birmingham Snow Hill in the early afternoon while passengers take a look around the town.
It will then return to Stratford to pick up travellers before departing back north at 4.46pm.
The express will then make its way through Henley-in-Arden at 5.01pm as it returns to Derby.
The excursion has previously been hauled by either 7029 Clun Castle and 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, but this weekend will be hauled by 45596 Bahamas
