The Ivy is coming to South Warwickshire
By James Smith 26th Feb 2026
Historic restaurant chain The Ivy is set to come to South Warwickshire this year.
Renowned for its contemporary British Cuisine, the eatery will open at Bell Court in Stratford-upon-Avon in the autumn.
Adding to the 50-strong portfolio across the UK, the new restaurant will take over part of the former Debenhams shop in the town centre.
John Stacey, managing director of Blue Coast Capital, owners of Bell Court commented: "With momentum continuing to build, Bell Court is entering an exciting new chapter.
"We are excited to be partnering with The Ivy at Bell Court.
"Autumn 2026 is set to be a defining moment in shaping the destination's future and reinforcing Stratford-upon-Avon's status as a standout location for high-quality dining and leisure experiences."
Blue Coast says it hopes the opening will increase footfall to Bell Court, extend dwell times and "further enhance the daytime and evening economy" in Stratford.
Cllr George Cowcher, deputy leader and planning and development portfolio holder at Stratford-on-Avon District Council commented: "The opening of The Ivy reflects the continued confidence of leading operators in Stratford-upon-Avon as a thriving cultural and commercial destination.
"Bell Court's prime location, complementary occupier mix and strong connection to the town's heritage and tourism offer have made it an increasingly attractive proposition for best-in-class brands seeking a prominent presence.
