Warwick's town centre is set to be taken over on Monday 26 August for a day for the "whole family to enjoy".

The BIG Summer Market is coming to Market Square bringing a "fantastic variety of arts, crafts, and locally-produced goods".

With over 70 traders showcasing a vibrant array of arts, crafts, and local produce, this market is set to be a "wonderful summer shopping destination".

A Street Food Court will be serving up a mouth-watering selection of delicious food and drink. From Popcorn Chicken to Greek Chicken Gyros to sweet treats and refreshing beverages, you will find a tempting selection to enjoy while you browse.

Picnic benches will be dotted around to ensure visitors can sit down and soak up the atmosphere.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "The BIG Summer Market isn't just about the event itself; it's about driving footfall to the town centre, highlighting what makes Warwick such an incredible destination, and shining a spotlight on its unique independent shops and attractions."

Entertainment will also be on offer with rides, face painting and free balloon modelling all on offer for youngsters.

"So mark your calendars and get ready for The BIG Summer Market on August Bank Holiday Monday," CJ's added.

"It's going to be a day to remember, filled with laughter, great food, and fantastic finds."

The BIG Summer Market is taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August between 10am and 4pm in Market Square, Old Square and The Holloway.
