'Textiles and Tipples' artisan market coming to Kenilworth this weekend

A day of artisan wares and workshops is set to come to Kenilworth this weekend.

'Textiles and Tipples' will run at East Chase Farm on Saturday (July 22) bringing a range of stalls to town.

Guests will be able to see talented textile artists demonstrate their skills, as well as turn there own hand to making something to take away.

Throughout the day there will be workshops where guests will be able to create their own zippy bag or even a Baker Boy hat.

As advertised in our What's On section. the event is being run in partnership with Cloth Atelier and will feature a number of local businesses including East Chase Distillers.

"Join us for a full day of artisan products and workshops in the beautiful setting of East Chase Farm, Kenilworth," organisers said.

"Browse our handmade cloth collection and decide what you will make from the beautiful ranges of men's and womenswear sewing patterns.

"Sip artisan gin distilled on site, tuck into a locally-made healthy Buddha bowl or delicious cake and look forward to your workshops.

"Beginners can start with a simple zippy bag, or try your hand at Indigo dyeing.

"See the work of talented textile artists and take in the atmosphere as you listen to our featured speakers."

The event runs from 10am to 6pm - entry costs £4.50 and children under 14 go for free.

And Textiles and Tipples is not the only event heading to East Chase this weekend.

There will also be a Pick-Your-Own and Arrange Vase Workshop on Sunday (July 23) run by Naomi Weetman and Paintbox Blooms.
