1. Residents Picnic
ollowing the success of last year's event, a Kenilworth Residents Picnic has been confirmed for Kenilworth Castle this July.
The event was first hosted by Kenilworth Town Council to make the 450th anniversary of Elizabeth I's visit to the town.
And now it is set to return for a second time on Saturday 11 July.
Again organised by the town council, the event will run between 5:30pm and 8:30pm.
"Bring your picnic and the family for a fun filled event including a children's balloon modeller and face painting," the council said.
"For the adults...prepare to be serenaded by three fantastic local folk musicians headed up by Hamish Foxley...setting the vibe and maybe a bit of Ceilidh dancing as the night progresses!"

2. 48 Hour Show
Made in 48 Hours are back at the Talisman Theatre, a little earlier than usual and this year with something a bit different in 48 Ghosts on Sunday.
Do you believe in things that go bump in the night or are you a hard and fast sceptic? Are you brave enough to join us for a scream as we enter the world of the supernatural?
All brave souls welcome for an evening of fun frights and ghoulsih delight.

3. £2 Pints for England
£2 pints are set to return to a Kenilworth pub this weekend.
The Almanack is bringing pack its popular offer on Ghost Town Lager for Saturday's (July 11) England game against Norway.
The World Cup quarter final kicks off at 10pm BST, and the offer will run from the start of the match until the first goal.
The Abbey End pub has run the offer during the previous England games this tournament.
And Saturday's fixtures will also see the pub offering free Cherry Sourz shots every time England score.
Food will be served until 9pm.

4. First Aid at Work
Kenilworth businesses have the chance to give their employees potentially life-saving skills this summer thanks to a special offer on an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course.
Run by HALO Physiotherapy on Friday, July 10, the one-day course is offering two places for the price of one, giving colleagues the opportunity to become qualified first aiders together.
Running from 9.30am until 4.30pm, the course is fully accredited and is designed to give participants the confidence, practical skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in an emergency.
Organisers say the training - which will take place at Camden House on Warwick Road - is suitable for anyone looking to learn essential first aid skills, whether for the workplace, volunteering, sports clubs or simply to feel better prepared should an emergency arise.
