"Bring your picnic and the family for a fun filled event including a children's balloon modeller and face painting," the council said.

"For the adults...prepare to be serenaded by three fantastic local folk musicians headed up by Hamish Foxley...setting the vibe and maybe a bit of Ceilidh dancing as the night progresses!"

4. First Aid at Work

Kenilworth businesses have the chance to give their employees potentially life-saving skills this summer thanks to a special offer on an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course.

Run by HALO Physiotherapy on Friday, July 10, the one-day course is offering two places for the price of one, giving colleagues the opportunity to become qualified first aiders together.

Running from 9.30am until 4.30pm, the course is fully accredited and is designed to give participants the confidence, practical skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in an emergency.

Organisers say the training - which will take place at Camden House on Warwick Road - is suitable for anyone looking to learn essential first aid skills, whether for the workplace, volunteering, sports clubs or simply to feel better prepared should an emergency arise.
