Kenilworth School band wins major competition to play at Godiva main stage

The Godiva Festival main stage awaits for a band from Kenilworth School and Sixth Form which has won a hotly contested local competition
'Five Foot Under' won the recent Godiva Calling Under 18's competition at The Tin in Coventry, with the prize being a set in front of a huge crowd at the upcoming festival at the War Memorial Park.
Joe, Aaron, Ellis and Ash are all in Year 12 at Kenilworth School and topped the competition with votes from judges and the public.
This year's Godiva Calling was the biggest competition there has been so far, with nine winners across nine categories selected for slots on the main stage.
Five Foot Under will also receive a professional photoshoot and a package to record their own EP.
The competition - organised by Coventry Music - saw a number of heats take place at The Tin at Coventry Canal Basin, with the final taking place on Friday 14 May.
Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust - of which Kenilworth School is a part of - praised the boys after they were announced as winners.
"Huge congratulations to our Year 12 band, Five Feet Under!" it said.
"They triumphed at the Godiva Calling Under 18's competition and have earned the incredible opportunity to perform on the Main Stage at the Godiva Festival!"
After the results were announced, Coventry Music said: "All of the acts that have taken part over the past two weeks have been phenomenal and have raised the standards of what children and young people can deliver to the stage!"
