A Warwickshire-based, not-for-profit care provider has achieved Investors in People (IiP) Platinum accreditation, placing the charity among the top five percent of all accredited organisations.

WCS Care, which operates Castle Brook and Newlands in Kenilworth, was recognised for its commitment to creating a workplace where people thrive.

It provides care, respite, and specialist dementia care for older people in eleven homes across Warwickshire, supporting older people and people with disabilities.

WCS Care also has two homes for people with physical disabilities or long-term conditions, offering long and short-term residential care, rehabilitation, and respite care, including Newlands in Kenilworth.

Director of Quality at WCS Care, Keren Salt noted that the achievement is a celebration of the "incredible work" that the WCS carers do each day, with their "passion and dedication" making WCS Care homes both "wonderful places for residents to live," and "rewarding and supportive places to work."

Salt said: "This Platinum accreditation belongs to every member of our team, who put care at the heart of everything they do.

"We are also incredibly proud that Investors in People has recognised WCS Care's deep-rooted commitment to serving our local communities.

"This accreditation reinforces our belief that great care starts with great people, and we will continue to invest in our teams to ensure the very best outcomes for those we support."

CEO, Investors in People, Paul Devoy, added: "This prestigious recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication and commitment of the entire WCS Care team.

"Their passion for creating a supportive and thriving workplace is truly inspiring… and sets a benchmark for excellence in the industry."
