1. Cinema

Independent cinema returns to Kenilworth this weekend with 'Mothering Sunday'.

The Talisman Theatre will be showing the picture on Saturday 11 January at 7.30pm.

The advert says: "Mothering Sunday succeeds superbly both in its evocation of a sensual, erotic love affair and in its treatment of the bereaved families who, despite their elevated place in society, can never replace all that they've lost."

2. Tree House Sessions

Calling all poets, musicians, and other performers in and around Kenilworth! This Saturday is the first Tree House Session of 2025.

The Sessions are the monthly open mic nights hosted at the Tree House Book Shop in Kenilworth and are open to anyone – whether they want to perform or just enjoy an evening of great entertainment.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, and the evening is a fine space for poets, acoustic musicians, writers, and spoken word artists to perform their work – regardless of age of experience levels.
