1. Story Telling Corner

Storytelling Corner comes to Milk and Mocha, Warwick Road, on Friday 19 April.

From 7pm to 9pm, hear from storytellers from across the UK.

The event will include Darren Hoskins from the Forest of Dean - storyteller, stand-up and shepherd, winner of the Bardic Chair of Gloucester, mixes folk stories, life stories, lies and jokes with his unique, free-wheeling, highly physical style.

Kat Osbourne from Wales will also feature - creative craftswoman, storyteller and writer, currently working on a set of children's books to inspire and teach.

And Lindsay Woodward will also be there - multi published author and storyteller, from Rugby.

2. Pop-up Exhibtion

Head to The Almanack on Sunday (April 21) for a pop-up art exhibition courtesy of Coventry & Warwickshire Society of Artists.

In aid of Myton Hospice, the event will showcase a wide variety of work, original paintings and prints.

3. Pressure

Tickets are still available for Pressure at Kenilworth's Talisman Theatre.

Running every night until Saturday 20 April, this David Haig play commemorates the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

Directed by Michael Seeley, this gripping production promises to captivate audiences with its blend of historical events, human drama, and suspenseful storytelling.

Michael commented: "They had just one chance at this almost exactly 80 years ago, and everything had to be right, including the weather.

"The correct final forecast was key to success. But this is not just a story of high stakes, tension and disagreements.

"It is also a moving human story about how real people coped with the pressures of war. There are some lighter moments too - it is truly a play that will make you laugh while bringing a tear to your eye."

Saturday night is sold out aside from wheelchair spaces, but tickets remain for Thursday and Friday.
