By Carys Meredith 27th May 2026
Summer fun and festivities are set to happen today ( May 27) in Ryton Pools as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The park, which is located just outside of Kenilworth, is hosting a free day out provided by Warwickshire County Council Country Park services.
Visitors can expect live music, morris dancers, activities for children, like train rides and pond dipping, as well as food and drink stalls.
Ryton Pools is a beloved park by the people of Warwickshire and has become one of Warwickshire's most wildlife-rich country parks.
With more than 3,000 species recorded on site, the park is home to many rare birds, bees, moths and fungi.
Park rangers and volunteers continue to protect and conserve the site's natural habitat.
As well as being a place for nature enthusiasts, the park draws in people of all ages. Ryton Pools offers nature-inspired activities for children alongside an extensive outdoor education programme.
Alongside this they offer Mercia Cycles Bike Hire and Park Yoga sessions every Sunday.
Darren Cheshire, culture and environment lead, said: "We're looking forward to celebrating this anniversary with our residents and visitors, and we also look forward to many more years of this beloved country park."
