The Kenilworth Food Festival will return this Sunday (July 30) with over 100 traders heading to the town centre.

Organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire, the event last year is thought to have brought up to 15,000 people to Abbey End and Warwick Road.

The festival will run from 10am to 5pm on Sunday throughout the town centre, with an extra craft market also being held in Talisman Square.

But for the festival to take place, a number of road closures will be in place over the weekend.

The first set of closures will see Warwick Road closed from Randall Road to the Clock Tower from 9pm on Saturday 29 July until 11pm on Sunday.

On Sunday, Abbey End will be closed, at the junction with Abbey End car park to the Holiday Inn entrance from 6am until 11pm.

"We are delighted to announce the upcoming Kenilworth Food Festival, showcasing an extensive selection of street food and refreshing drinks," Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said.

"This sensational event promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. Our festival boasts a remarkable variety, with something to satisfy everyone's taste buds, this food festival is a must-visit.

"The festival offers various other attractions to ensure an enjoyable time for the whole family. Children will be thrilled with the presence of face painting and exciting rides. Meanwhile, on the main stage, live entertainment will captivate visitors with performances throughout the day.

"For those who appreciate arts and crafts, the festival extends the experience with the Art & Craft Market located in Talisman Square. Browse through an array of unique creations by talented artisans, offering an opportunity to take home a one-of-a-kind piece."
