Police are trying to trace a driver who may have witnessed a crash which left a motorcyclist in hospital at the end of April.

Officers believe the driver was on their way to Warwickshire and may have seen the incident on the A429 Fosse Way in Stow-on-the-Wold at around 4.15pm on Saturday 25 April.

The crash, which took place near to Old Quarry Farm, involved a silver Triumph Trident motorbike and blue Volkswagen Polo.

The rider of the motorbike, a man aged in his 20s, was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry for treatment to serious injuries where he remains at this time.

Enquiries have been taking place since the collision and officers now believe that a dark coloured Volkswagen Sharan was travelling directly behind the vehicles involved and may have witnessed what happened.

Investigating officers are asking the driver of this vehicle or anyone who witnessed the collision and has any relevant footage to get in contact.

Information can be submitted to police by completing the following online form and quoting incident 314 of 25 April
