Warwickshire Police is appealing for information after a spate of nine separate burglaries in Kenilworth over the past few weeks.

Officers are asking residents with CCTV in or near the streets listed to review their footage around the time of the burglaries.

And with many of the incidents seeing offenders break through the property's back door, Kenilworth Watch is appealing to residents with UPVC type doors to check the type of locks fitted and change them to the 'anti snap' type.

A watch spokesperson said: "Many standard locks do not offer robust protection and can often easily be punched through enabling entry for criminals within 10 seconds."
