A man in his 50's was reportedly hit by a car in a layby in Honiley on Monday (February 27).

Officers are appealing for information on the alleged hit and run, which happened between 1pm and 1.15pm on the A4177, between the five ways roundabout and Honiley.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "A pedestrian, a man in his fifties, was in a layby and reports that he was struck by an unknown car, which then drove off.

"The man sustained minor injuries."

Anyone who saw the incident, or who has dash cam footage, is asked to contact police by visiting www.warwickshire.police.uk/ro/report, citing incident number 147 of February 27.
