Photography competition opens for Friends of Abbey Fields calendar

Friends of Abbey Fields is once again inviting residents to submit their entries for its calendar competition.

The committee is looking for photographs of Abbey Fields from throughout the year for its 2023 calendar.

The competition is now open and entries can be submitted until May 31.

Last year's winning entry, 'Mackerel Sky over Abbey Fields' by Sam Sexton, was featured on the front cover of the calendar and is shown above.

And each month included another photograph selected from the entries.

Last year the calendars also included slogans for each month written by children from Priors Field Primary School.

FoAF will accept photographs taken in previous years.

Photographs can be sent to [email protected]

Competition Rules:

- There is no restriction on the number of photographs that can be submitted by each photographer, but

- Each photograph must be sent in a separate email with the following as the subject line of the email. Month – Name – Title The photographer's name

The title or caption for the photograph

e.g. May – Joe Bloggs – Misty Morning
