An outdoor cinema is set to return to South Warwickshire this September.

Compton Verney will host al fresco screenings from Friday, September 15 until Sunday 17, with Elvis, Mamma Mia and Top Gun: Maverick all set to be shown.

Guests will also be treated to a range of food and drinks as Digbeth Dining Club also heads to the Georgian manor house estate.

The cinema is being organised by Adventure Cinema, which holds screenings in historical settings and parks across the country.

It has previously held events at Coventry Cathedral, Baddesley Clinton and Coughton Court.

Organisers said: "The UK's largest outdoor cinema tour is coming to Compton Verney to give you a movie experience like no other!

"Whether it's date night or girls night, why not take your pick from three fantastic films across 3 days. Sit under the stars in the picturesque grounds of Compton Verney, providing an extraordinary backdrop."

Screenings on each day will be at 8pm and adults tickets start at £15.50.

The show will go on, regardless of whether it rains or not - so dress appropriately for the weather!

Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic to the event.
