Organisers say 'f*** you' as Warwickshire Pride festival vandalised again

Warwickshire Pride has been forced to say its "annual f*** you" as its festival site has been vandalised once again.
The charity has been forced to repair damage to its set up in each of the past few years as vandals destroyed decorations and tents ahead of Warwickshire Pride.
In a statement this morning (August 16) chair Daniel Browne said 2025 had been no different and revealed the trans tent had been particularly impacted.
"Unfortunately a gang has attacked the festival site and flags were torn down as per usual, they got into some of the tents," he said.
"The trans tent in particular is pretty trashed.
"This is my annual f*** you to the people who come and attack pride and what we are trying to do - absolute a********."
Warwickshire Pride has also been quick to thank members of the community who have rallied this morning to fix the damage.
The pride march begins at 11am on Beauchamp Road and will head on to the parade and down to the Pump Room Gardens where the day of celebration will continue with over 100 stalls.
"Obviously we are going to have to have a rethink about how we do this in future years," Daniel continued.
"It's impossible to set up everything on the morning, there is now just too much to do.
"We need to set it up the day before.
"But obviously the site keeps getting trashed.
"We are going to have to have a rethink on that."
