Kenilworth Lions is inviting men aged 40 and over to have a prostate disease blood test later this January.

Hosted at Kenilworth Rugby Club, there will be an evening of prostate-specific antigen testing on January 26.

117 men turned up for the last test evening, in September, with a number of them returning red alerts for more testing.

Run in conjunction with Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, tests can be booked between 6.30pm and 8.30pm for a minimum donation of £20.

A Lions statement said: "This is a very worthwhile activity in highlighting potential prostate cancer early. Well done and thanks to all who supported the event."

Kenilworth Lions first started the PSA testing back in 2019 with an event at Abbey Hill United Reform Church.

Due to the pandemic this was not possible in 2020 so home tests were distributed across town.

Anybody interested can pre-book their slot by calling 01926 419959 or by visiting the mypsatests website.
