A new hotel is set to open in Warwickshire this year, run by Focus Hotels Management.

The leading hotel firm has this week announced it has secured the management contract for the Polo Club Hotel – which will open at the 200-acre Dallas Burston Polo Club.

The acquisition comes at an "exciting time" of growth for Focus Hotels as it continues to expand its portfolio of upscale hospitality ventures.

As part of polo club's expansion plans, the hotel will play a "pivotal role" in creating a "sophisticated retreat" for visitors while "improving accessibility" to the world of equestrian sport.

Set to open in 2024, the property will offer high-end luxury and close ties to the venue's sports and events facilities, including four polo grounds, an equestrian arena, a stylish gastropub and the 3,000-capacity IXL Events Centre.

Devin Grosse, CEO of Focus Hotels, said: "This collaboration presents a unique prospect to curate a destination that not only embodies first-class luxury but also resonates on a global scale.

"Our dedicated team looks forward to crafting a world-class experience that blends the exceptional service ethos of Focus Hotels with the distinctive vision and quality of Dallas Burston Polo Club."

Dr. Dallas Burston, owner of the Dallas Burston Polo Club and Polo Club Hotel added: "We are delighted to partner with Focus Hotels for the management of our upcoming hotel.

"Our shared ambition is for our award-winning venue to become a leading destination for business and leisure in England, and we are confident that the Polo Club Hotel will contribute significantly to this vision with Focus at the helm."
