Music returns to the streets of Kenilworth

After months without any live performances, music returned to Kenilworth today to brighten up the lives of people out shopping.

Today the 'Pocket Park' on Warwick Road/Station Road was blessed with the sound of live music courtesy of Chaos Covers Band.

The six-part ensemble played such tunes as All About That Bass, Hotel California, and Breakfast in America much to the delight of onlookers.

As so few live artists are currently able to perform to an audience, Chaos reflected on their return to performing "we busked in Rugby last week, by kind invitation of 'Rugby First' and we received such an amazing reception!

"It seems people are really missing the kind of good vibes that cheerful music can bring."

Playing outside Leaders Limited and Pomeroys Bistro, the sextet entertained a constant throng of onlookers, all of whom were still able to maintain social distancing rules.

"We've been invited back, but thought this week we'd visit our beloved Kenilworth to see if we can spread some good cheer!"

If you missed the performance, you can see a recording in the embedded link above.
