Murder investigation launched after man found fatally stabbed near Earlswood Lakes

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found fatally stabbed near Earlswood Lakes.

West Midlands Police officers were called to the junction of Braggs Farm Lane at Lady Lane just before 6.45am yesterday (29 November).

A man in his 40s was found with serious injuries.

A police spokesperson said: "Sadly nothing could be done to save him.

"We're carrying out extensive enquiries to establish exactly what happened and why.

"We're supporting the man's family during this deeply distressing time.
