The M40 Warwick northbound services will remain closed today (March 23) due to "substantial flooding" overnight.

National Highways announced the Welcome Break between junction 13 and 12 southbound was shut at around 9pm last night.

This has since reopened.

However, an update this morning said the northbound services are now shut due to flooding overnight.

"Due to substantial flooding overnight, the northbound M40 Warwick Services between J12 and J13 remains closed," it said.

"There is no estimated time for this to re-open at present."

Flooding has also caused the A46 near Stratford-upon-Avon to close.

The road is shut between the A3400 and the A439
