Link from new housing estate to Kenilworth School completed

A promised link connecting a new housing estate to Kenilworth School is now complete.
As part of the planning permission for the huge Stoneleigh View estate on Glasshouse Lane, a gate was promised to allow students to access the secondary school.
While the school opened in 2023 and many of the houses have been built and are now occupied, the link only opened last week.
Town councillors last month said the link was vital to "avoid students having to walk along a lack of pavemented road".
The path goes from Oakley Road to the rear of the school.
Works to improve the safety around Glasshouse Lane and the new school continue.
