Thieves killed and skinned a lamb in a farmer's field in Stoneleigh before stealing two more lambs over the weekend.

Warwickshire Police said the offence took place between 8am on Saturday, January 28 and 6.30pm on Sunday 29.

A force statement said offenders entered field in Stoneleigh and "caught and killed a cross breed lamb on site, leaving behind the skin.

"Offenders stole a further two lambs before making good their escape."
