A therapy centre in Kenilworth could be turned back into a family home if plans are signed off by Warwick District Council.
A planning application has been submitted for the change of use at 'The Cottage Therapy Centre' on New Street.
Currently the building's first floor has three therapy rooms, while the ground and second floors are used for accommodation.
If approved, the application would see the first floor turned into bedrooms and a four-bedroom house created.
"The application does not propose to change the use of the whole building," the plans stated.
"It is only proposed to reuse the therapy rooms as bedrooms in what is essentially a dwelling house with ancillary workspace.
"There are other counselling services in Kenilworth that are close to the site that can be accessed by means other than the private car.
"The change of use of the therapy rooms will not affect access to counselling services in the area."
The application says the changes to the grade II listed building would be a "positive use".
It also states the change is needed to help sell the property.
"The existing layout of the property severely restricts the applicant's ability to sell it," the application continued.
"The mixed use of the building caters for a very niche market.
"There is no guarantee that any future occupier would use the therapy rooms themselves or let them out for use by others.
"The therapy rooms could quite easily fall out of use and be absorbed into the residential occupation of the building.
"The purpose of this application is to formalise the use of the therapy rooms as bedrooms.
"This will create a four-bedroom family dwelling instead of the current layout that has a single bedroom at second floor."
