A popular Kenilworth restaurant has closed for two weeks for a refurbishment and rebrand.

Pomeroys on Station Road shut yesterday (March 2) and is set to reopen as The Station House on 13 March.

Work has already started on site, following an event on Friday to say goodbye to the outgoing name.

The eatery has also taken to social media to start selling off some of the décor, including two "statement globe" lights, each price at £1,000.

Again taking to social media, the restaurant says The Station House will bring "mouthwatering food," "coffee perfection," and "the perfect setting for a memorable time."

Few other details have been shared.

"We're going to be taking a small break while we make some changes so will be closed from 2 March reopening on 13 March," the team said.

"It's going to be exciting and different so watch this space…"
