A Kenilworth pub has announced a series of 'Wellbeing Walks' to highlight the importance of looking after your mental health.

The Virgins & Castle will run three walks from the old High Street pub this October to stress the value of getting outside and connecting with other people.

Following the success of last year's walks, the pub's owners were keen to bring them back for 2021 and fittingly announced the next set of walks on World Mental Health Day last Sunday (October 10).

As advertised in our What's On section, the walks will start and finish at the Virgins & Castle, with everyone (including dogs) welcome.

Walks will take place on:

- 16 October at 2pm

- 24 October at 10am

- 29 October at 11am

The pub's general manager Andy Lock said: "The team at the Virgins & Castle wanted to play our part in supporting the mental health of our community and to highlight some of the things that we can do to support our wellbeing.

"We will be running the Wellbeing Walks to highlight the positive impact that being outside in nature, being active and talking can have on our mental health."
