Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Neighbour's Dispute
Councillors settled a neighbourly dispute over a home revamp in Kenilworth with unanimous backing for "perfectly normal" plans.
A homeowner on Fieldgate Lane, Kenilworth, wants a ground floor extension, detached garage, extended driveway, solar panels, roof lights and external improvements.
A number of neighbours objected with Warwick District Council's planning report stating that a key theme was the proposed materials but noted that the house "is not one of significant architectural merit" and "neither conserves nor enhances the character of the designated heritage asset" due to the current mix of materials seen on the outside.

Developer's Designs
The developer behind a major new housing estate in Kenilworth has said provided an update on the planned safe pedestrian walking routes into the centre of town.
Charles Church has already started selling houses at its Kenilworth Gate estate on Leamington Road, where some 550 homes will be built.
The developer is currently waiting to finish the first stages of construction before opening a pathway to Thickthorn Close, and it working with Warwickshire County Council on designing the new junctions to the estate.

Abbey Fields
Open Letter to the Residents of Kenilworth and Warwick District regarding Abbey Fields Leisure Centre, from Councillors Aizlewood, Cron, Hales and Williams.
"We fully support the pressing need for a new swimming pool in Kenilworth."
"Our view is that there has not been proper consideration of these changed circumstances, nor a review of alternative options for the pool."
