Here are the biggest Kenilworth planning stories from the past week.

HS2 Tunnel Plans

Detailed plans for the 690-metre 'cut and cover' tunnel in Burton Green have been submitted by HS2.

The high-speed rail developer has already revealed the tunnel will be masked by extensive tree planting to "integrate seamlessly with the existing landscape".

And an application submitted to Warwick District Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council shows that a number of options had been considered for the design, including creating a bored tunnel, like the one being built in Long Itchington.

A46 Stoneleigh

Road closures to install a new bridge over the A46 have been delayed until the new year, the council has announced.

Warwickshire County Council announced last month that the Stoneleigh Junction bridge deck would be moved into place this December.

But it has now pushed the work back until January "to minimise disruption during the Christmas period".

Pub Reopens

Sitting next to the Grand Union Canal in Knowle, the King's Arms pub reopened to guests last weekend following five weeks of renovations both inside and out.
