A Kenilworth Michelin-star restaurant has been featured in a list of the top 49 pubs in the UK with beer gardens and outdoor seating in 2021.

The list, compiled by The Times, places The Cross, New Street, places the restaurant at number six in the list ahead of the reopening of pubs this week.

The article says: "Dine on the chic patio of this Michelin-starred market-town pub that's owned by Andreas Antona, the chef-owner of Simpsons restaurant in Birmingham.

"Choose between two, three and five-course menus that include creative dishes such as Creedy Carver duck breast with smoked beetroot, pommes anna, hibiscus and raspberry vinegar, and hazelnut soufflé with praline sauce and vanilla cream. Opening from April 14.

"Reservations encouraged; walk-ins dependent on availability."

The New Street venue was first given a Michelin Star in 2015.

The top spot in The Times' list went to The Swan Inn, Ascott-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire.
